Sorry, once again, for my extream lack of posts! this is because i have just started catering college and have been busy busy busy with UKYP work, which we shall now get to!
After a meeting with fellow members (including new deputy memeber for huntingdon, Emily Marshall) we have agreed to go ahead with the UKYP Cambs showcase evening, but have renamed it "An Evening With UKYP Cambs"
We were thinking about doing it on the 19th October, but that was to short notice, so dates are still to be confirmed.
All members are also looking for something to persue on local democracy week, so if you have any leads on what we can do let me know by emailing Lewisukyp@googlemail.com.
We are thinking of press work, if you have any press leads, again please let me know.

A Night With UKYP Cambs?
Hi all,
It's been a very busy few weeks for me and the other MYP's in Cambridgeshire.
We are in the middle of planning an event called "A Night With UKYP Cambs"
It's all very underwraps at the moment , so more coming soon, but i think you can probebly guess what it is!

- Wednesday- Chill Out Day With Some mild Campaigning

- Friday- Press Release For Cambs Times.

Not A Happy Boy!
Hi Everyone,
Sorry I Have Not Updated In A Week, I Went For A Well Earned Break To Butlins With Family To Celebrate The End Of My G.C.S.E's.
I Regret To Announce That I Have Not Been Granted The Time Of Work Needed To Attend The UKYP's Annual Sitting :( So I Cannot Attend, But I have Someone Who Will Be Keeping Me Up To Date, So I Can Update Everyone Via Twitter. www.twitter.com/lewispuntermyp

It's Been A Slow Week!

As The Little Leads You To Suggest, I Havn't Been Up To Much At All This Past Week. Nothing Youth Parliament Related, Except For Redesigning The UK Youth Parliament Cambridgeshire Website. It Needed A Good Refurb!
Im Going Out Tonight With The Other Members And Deputys, And Will Be Taking Pictures For The Website.
Im Hoping The Website Will Be Up In The Next Few Weeks, Along With (Get This)...... THE UK YOUTH PARLIAMENT CAMBRIDGESHIRE TWITTER!!!!

Things Are On The Up.... Slowly
Hi Everyone,
I've Finally Finished My GCSE's! So That Means More Time To Spend On UK Youth Parliament.
Today, The UK Youth Parliament East Of England Region Met In Thurrok To Sort Out Things For The Annual Sitting And The CAFE Campaign (CAFE= Cultural Awareness For Everyone).
We Also Elected New Campaign Representatives. As A Result, I Was Elected Campaign Representative For The Fares Fair Transport Campaign. THis Gives Me A Great Oppertunity To Work With The Local And National Campaigns.
Also, I Am Going To Be Sending Postcards To MP's In Response To UK Youth Parliaments Campaign To Abolish University Tutition Fees, So If You Would Like Me To Send One On Your Behalf, Email lewis.punter@ukypcambs.org And I Will Put Your Name Down On The Already long List Of Participants.

The Kids Are Alright Campaign.
What A Week Its Been! As Im Sure Most People My Age Will Agree, Its Been A Rather Busy Few Weeks, But This Has Been The Busiest So Far!
With An Exam Virtually Every Day, I've Struggled To Fit In UK Youth Parliament, But I Am Attending A Meeting Monday. I Officially Left School On Friday (Just Have To Return For Exams)
I Did However, Spend Some Time On The Campaign "The Kids Are Alright" Which Aims To Reduce The Negative Sterotypes About Teenagers. I Mildly Helped Them With Their Campaign DVD On Wednesday. They Had A Big Tent In The Middle Of Wisbech Town Centre In Which Was A Big Blue Sofa Used To Interview Members Of The Public.
I Am Also Searching For A New Deputy Member Of UK Youth Parliament. If Anybody Is Interested, Please Email Lewis.punter@ukypcambs.org And I Shall Send You An Application Form.
